TERMS & CONDITIONS

By purchasing a ticket to our event you are agreeing to the Terms & Conditions set out by Spiritual Paranormal Society below.

It will be your responsibility to share this information with your party of guests.

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 By agreeing to join us on this event you and your party accept the terms and conditions set out below.

1.2 If you do not accept the terms and conditions do not book onto one of our events.

2. Guest Restrictions

2.1 Due to some restrictions that are imposed by certain venues and by our insurance company, the minimum age to take part in our events in 18 years of age. Spiritual Paranormal Society reserves the right to ask for ID if any of team suspect a guest as being under the minimum age. Failure to provide proof of age for any guest or to be found under the required age will result in the guest(s) asked to leave the event WITHOUT ANY REFUND.

2.2 Any guest who uses a wheelchair or has severe mobility issues are kindly asked to contact us before booking onto an event to check that the venue is suitable. We do try our best to accommodate everyone.

3. Alcohol and drugs

3.1 Spiritual Paranormal Society reserve the right to remove any guest(s) that we suspect to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs or is suspected to have brought alcohol or drugs to the event.

3.2 Any guest removed from an event because of clause 3.1 WILL NOT be entitled to a refund.

3.3 Spiritual Paranormal Society reserve the right to ask guests upon arrival if they have been drinking alcohol before the event.

4. Pregnant Women

4.1 Due to some restrictions that are imposed by our insurance and by certain venues heavily pregnant women WILL NOT be allowed onto any of our events.

5. Behaviour

5.1 Spiritual Paranormal Society has a zero-tolerance policy towards disruptive behaviour on our events. Out of fairness to others attending the event, any guest(s) found to be being disruptive during the event towards host or other guests WILL BE removed from the event.

5.2 Any guest found to be causing harm, injury or damage to any other person, property or venue WILL be removed from the event.

5.3 Any guest removed from an event because of clause 5.1 or 5.2 WILL NOT be entitled to a refund.

5.4 Any areas of the venue that have been clearly marked as out of bounds to the public, will be communicated to ALL guests at the beginning of the event. Any guests found to be in these areas will be removed from the event, NO REFUND will be given.

6. Full Ticket Prices

6.1 Tickets will only be held for 20 minutes on our booking system until paid in full.

7. Indemnity and Liability

7.1 Compensation will be given to any guest who suffers any loss or damage if we fail to carry out any duties imposed up on us by law, unless the failure is attributed to:

7.1.1 Guests own fault

7.1.2 Any third party not connected with the provision of service under these Terms and Conditions, including the owners of venues or;

7.1.3 Any events that have been unforeseen by Spiritual Paranormal Society even if we had taken reasonable care.

8. Smoking and Fire Hazards

8.1 It is UK law that smoking is prohibited in any public building in the UK. The host working the location/event will tell you where the designated smoking area is for the guests that smoke and vape.

Candles and other naked flames are strictly prohibited from being used during our events. Any guests found not following this, will be removed from the event, NO REFUND will be given.

8.2 Smoking will ONLY be permitted during scheduled break times. Guest should NOT leave the premises unless it is during the scheduled break.

9. Usage of Equipment on Events

9.1 The equipment that we make available for guest to use becomes the sole responsibility of the guest using and handling it.

9.2 Guests will be asked to sign out and back in equipment that is borrowed.

9.3 Damage or misuses of equipment will be asked to be replaced by the guest.

10. Personal Belongings

10.1 Any clothing, equipment, vehicles or personal effects belonging to guests are their own responsibility. Spiritual Paranormal Society cannot be held responsible for any clothing, equipment, parking fines, breakdowns, damage to vehicles or clamping of vehicles. All property belonging to you is your responsibility to protect and keep safe whilst attending our events.

10.2 Equipment as referred to in clause 10.1 above also includes any ghost hunting equipment bought along by the guest to the event.

11. Accommodation

11.1 Spiritual Paranormal Society does not offer any accommodation on our events unless otherwise stated on the events page. The event will clearly say if there are sleeping arrangements available.

12. Entertainment

12.1 When booking onto one of our events you will be agreeing that Spiritual Paranormal Society supplies and any service that we supply is for entertainment purposes only. We cannot and will not guarantee that any paranormal activity will take place on the night. Spiritual Paranormal Society DO NOT fake any activity on our events, we as a team will not go on any of the equipment that the guests use. Spiritual Paranormal Society strives to bring you a well organised event, conducted under controlled conditions.

12.2 Spiritual Paranormal Society take a very dim view of guests that fake activity. If any guest is found to be faking activity be it tipping a table/ pushing the planchette/glass or any other fake activity they WILL be removed from the event and NO REFUND will be given.

13. Photography and Film

13.1 During events hosts will be filming and taking photos during vigils using recording equipment.

13.2 The media will be shared on social media to promote our society and show any evidence that was captured on the night.

13.3 If you do not wish to be seen on social media from the event please speak to on of our team at the beginning of the event and we will try our best to keep you out of the film or photograph.

13.4 Due to some restrictions at some venues photographs and film may not be permitted by the owners. This will be communicated to ALL guests at the beginning of the event. Any guest found to be in breach of this clause will be removed and asked to leave. NO REFUND will be given.

14. Our Staff

14.1 Spiritual Paranormal Society staff are always professional, however any statements made by a staff member are the sole opinion of that individual and no way reflect the opinions or policy or Spiritual Paranormal Society.

14.2 As a guest you responsible for making your own decisions and it is understood that when a host member suggests something to you, it is only an opinion, and should NOT be interpreted as the sole course of action.

15. Indemnity

15.1 The guest agrees to Spiritual Paranormal Society against all liability in respect of costs, claims, damages, demands, penalties, actions, proceedings, suits, losses or expenses in respect of arising out of the injury to or the death of any person, or damage to any property from the guests own neglect.

15.2 When attending any of our events please wear sensible clothing and footwear. For the winter months warm clothing is advised as temperatures can drop quite considerably during the early hours. Spiritual Paranormal Society take no responsibility for illness or injury due to wearing incorrect clothing or footwear.

15.3 Guests are expected to bring a torch as most of the vigils and investigation will be carried out in the dark.
